Before The Sell
STEP 1: Request an Appointment
Whether you wish to sell a single piece of art, a large collection, or the contents of a house, you are always welcome to request an appointment for valuation either online or in our regional offices.
STEP 2: Sign a Seller’s Agreement
Before you sell your property at Bona Art Gallery, you must sign a consignment agreement. This is the contract we have with our sellers in which we agree to sell their property in one of our sale- rooms. It lists our terms and fees for services such as insurance, loss/damage liability, shipping and illustration.
STEP 3: Make Shipping Arrangement
Bona Art Gallery can help you arrange packing and shipping or you may use your own carrier
After The Sell
Attending a live auction offers a thrill like no other. You are welcome to attend the auction at which your property is offered for sale, or you can watch it online.
After the auction, you will receive a notification that lists the final bid price for your property. If a buyer wasn’t found, our staff will contact you immediately to discuss either re-offering or collect- ing your property.
After each auction, Bona Art Gallery will send payment to sellers along with a statement indicating your sales results and net returns, based on the hammer price less a commission and any agreed-upon expenses.
